KENYAN/UGANDA CULTURE
I have been staying in uganda for almost two years now. I must admit i have enjoyed every bit of my stay though there were up and downs but that life. The have experinced the culture and the lifestyles. Like Kenya, Uganda has may tribues buh the major tribe is the Buganda. I was carried away by the buganda culture from their tradations, food and lifestly. They have their traditional wear worn by ladies called the Gomesi, i havent aquired one but i will soon. So whenever there is a function for the buganda, from weddings to events they were the gomesi specially the elderly wamen. Men wear the kanzus. I have learnt the Lunganda language and i enjoy speaking it.
Their stapele food is Matoke and damn they know how to prepare it and it takes time. The matoke is commonly taken by G-nut sause which is not prepared in kenya. I also like how they have diffrent helthy food varieties. When you go a restraunt, you get a bit of everything unlike kenya where you just get one type. I will surely miss the food when i leave. I also like their introduction ceremonies specially when the girl asked for anything from the mans side. During the event known as Owanjula, they do it so big you would think it THE wedding yet its just a traditional weeding. They put too much resourses in it. :-)
I never got much exposure to the other cultures but learn a few things about the Banyankole and people from the west.

Healing of the mind
The mind is a powerful organ. Very powerful indeed. It handles all the emotions and thoughts that a human being has. This year i received my healing of the mind. I know it sounds wired but actually its not. There situation in life where there is a lot going on, in terms of your career, your family, your job, you healths...things are not right. Despite it all, you move on and you try to live by it and you convince your self all is well and actually forget all that. Like i said our mind is powerful, it does not forget. That is why you find yourself in a situation where you don't want to think about certain things but at the end of the day...you will think about. This situations push you to the wall, they deprive you of your peace, energy, vision and joy. It like you are a walking zombie.
Sadly, no one can understand what the situation is like. Your friends and family think all is okay because you act it. I have been there and i know what it like. I had so much going on and i wanted things to happen like PAP. I had to make a decision but i could not because of holding on to what i have thought it was time to let go. Until i laid it before God and He healed me. It just happened, i opened my heart to God and i cried our all that i had experienced in 2013. And just like that, i got healed. I finally made the decisions i had to, finally did things the right way and finally had that peace of mind.
I had to fully open my heart to God for him to heal me. I believed and i wanted change in my life. I have begun my journey of 2014 with a clear vision, goal, and peace of mind. I pray that the Lord will give me the strength to press on and i will have a testimony by the end of the year. So far so good and yes am more at peace with myself.
